Bruce records a series of promotional interviews from his home in support of Only The Strong Survive, including appearances on Questlove's podcast Questlove Supreme (released November 9) and on Virgin Radio Italy (released November 11). The interviews cover a range of topics, related to the new album and not: when Questlove asks about Bruce's first musical memory, he sings a brief snippet of "Heigh-Ho" from Snow White And The Seven Dwarves! The precise recording dates of these interviews are uncertain. Massimo Cotto asked Bruce during the Italian virginradio interview :

"Was it difficult to choose the songs ? Did you have many songs and among them you choose them 15 ? "
" 40 songs I left on the floor. So that gives you an idea how it goes."

One Title ? Just to know we are missing ?
" I sang a Jimmy Webb song, called 'All I know'. That was for a different kind of record that I was making. Turned out pretty good. Didn't use it. " . ....There was quite a few other soul songs and other titles that I gave a shot to and they are all stuck in my mind now " .

Lyrics

I bruise you
You bruise me
We both bruise too easily
Too easily to let it show
I love you and that's all I know
All my plans
Have fallen through
All my plans depend on you
Depend on you to help them grow
I love you and that's all I know
When the singer's gone
Let the song go on
But the ending always comes at last
Endings always come too fast
They come too fast
But they pass too slow
I love you and that's all I know
When the singer's gone
Let the song go on
It's a fine line between the darkness and the dawn
They say in the darkest night, there's a light beyond
But the ending always comes at last
Endings always come too fast
They come too fast
But they pass too slow
I love you and that's all I know
That's all I know
That's all I know
